Jack Bauer saved the world from terrorism for 8 seasons from 2001-2011. It's rather apt that the Legacy will continue. Lately there has been a large surge of re-making and re-imagining successful Hollywood and television franchises. 24 is very much in this pattern. The formula for the intriguing notion that each episode is a one hour of television run time, with commercials, the episodes, themselves will be one hour of events from all perspectives of the characters. Creators Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow keep with the winning formula that brought success to the original franchise, which includes 8 original seasons, a mini series in 2014, a full length film in 2008, and a few other spin offs throughout the years, including a short film. Even the titles of each episode are simply a time index. The first episode is entitled, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

Many are wondering if the famed actor, Corey Hawkins, known best for his most recent work on Straight Outta Compton, portraying the memorable Dr. Dre, can save us from terrorist, just as Jack Bauer has. The official trailer and official teaser of the newly formed FOX Television series is rather convincing. Fans of the show will immediately recognize the fast paced action and cut scenes used to tell the story, just like the original series.
